(Greenfield) The Adair County Sheriff’s Office report five arrests.
*The Adair Police Department arrested an Atlantic woman for Interference with Official Acts in the early morning hours of May 22. Police charged 27-year old Amanda Jo Herring after refusing to exit the vehicle she was a passenger in when told it would be impounded due to the driver not having insurance. Police cited and released Herring from the scene.
*Greenfield Police arrested 40-year old Donna Marie Ott, of Des Moines, on May 20th for Domestic Abuse Assault, 1st Offense. Ott allegedly assaulted her grandmother. Authorities released Ott on her own recognizance.
*Greenfield Police arrested 29-year old Veronica Viola Lee Elwood, of Greenfield, on May 19, for 4th Degree Criminal Mischief. Elwood allegedly punctured the tires of the vehicles owned by the Fareway Store Manager and another employee. The act was caught on surveillance video. Authorities released Elwood on a $1000 cash bond.
*The Adair County Sheriff’s Office arrested 20-year old Jordan Benjamin Andrus, of West Des Moines on a Clive Police Department warrant. Authorities turn Andrus over to the Clive Police Department.
*Stuart Police arrested 46-year old Mindy Jo Knapp of Perry, for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Marijuana, and 1st offense, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine, 2nd Offense, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Officer’s cited Knapp and released her at the scene.
