(Stuart) A semi-driver sustained injuries in a semi rollover accident on Interstate 80 in Adair County.
The Iowa State Patrol says at around 11:44 p.m. in the westbound lanes near the 90-mile marker. Authorities say 27-year old Yevgeniya Oleinikov of Citrus Grove, California suffered injuries in the crash.
According to State Police, a westbound 2018 semi-tractor and trailer driven by Oleinikov, for an unknown reason, left the roadway to the right, entered the north ditch, and rolled on its’ side. The accident blocked both westbound lanes of I-80. The traffic was detoured while crews cleaned up the crash.
Stuart Rescue transported Oleinilkov to Mercy West Hospital.
