(Griswold) At Monday’s meeting, The Griswold School Board approved the contract for Stephanie Lajko as the new Middle School/High School principal.
Griswold School Superintendent Dave Henrichs says the contract agreement is pending the release of her contract from the Treynor Community School Board meeting on May 24. “I have talked to the Treynor Superintendent, and all indications are they are willing to release her from her contract next Monday,” said Henrichs.
Lajko is a graduate of Northwestern College with an administration degree and principal endorsement, and a graduate of Peru State College in Elementary and Early Childhood Education.,
Lajko taught for 11-years, two years in Prek and four years in Kindergarten at the Missouri Valley Community School District, and five years in 3rd Grade at Treynor Community School District. She’s coached Soccer as a JV and Assistant at Missouri Valley for two years and three years in the same capacity at Treynor.
Before teaching in public schools, Lajko taught at Child Saving Institute as a Lead Preschool Teacher, and First National Child Development Center as the Two’s Team Leader/Supervisor, and as a Two’s Teacher.
