(Audubon) A newly redesigned website for the City of Audubon is up and running.
The site went live this week and will allow the public to take care of about anything that they previously had to physically go to city hall to take care of. “With our new website people can sign in and get their own portal to interact with the city.” City Clerk Joe Foran says, “It’s a big, major deal for us. They can click on ‘My Front Desk’ and get signed in.”
City Clerk Joe Foran outlines some of the main advantages of the new site.
“They get to see their utility bill, they can see their utility history, they can interact with the staff. We are eventually going to have forms in there. Right now we have building permit forms so you can go in and get a building permit. The idea is everything you can come to the city and do you should be able to do right there over the internet.”
