(Shelby Co.) Registration is now open for Beyond BOW (Becoming an Outdoors Woman) – Women, Water, and Wine.
Christina Roelofs, Naturalist with Shelby County Conservation Board and Iowa DNR, said the event will be held between Nishna Bend Recreation Area and Prairie Rose State Park August 27-29.
Roelofs said Saturday morning will begin with paddling the Nishnabotna River.
Sunday will be a day of hiking, wild edibles, and Dutch oven cooking. The event will end after lunch.
Roelofs said there are different options to sign up; you can do the whole weekend or just a couple of days, whatever works for your schedule.
