Atlantic High School/Middle School Competes in National Archery Tournament

 (Atlantic) The Atlantic High School and Middle School Archery Teams competing at the National Archery Tournament came away with impressive scores and placings. Junior Cooper Jipsen led the squad with 292 out of 300 possible points ranking him 60th out of 2860 shooters overall, and 19 out of 657 amongst high school juniors, and 70th overall. Halle Copeland shot 284 ranking her 222 out of 7,307 competitors nationally.

Atlantic 7th grader Margaret McCurdy and 8th grader Conner Johnson posted the top score in the Middle School National Competition with 289’s
