(Greenfield) Adair County Health System (ACHS) recognized all the extraordinary nurses that work for the organization on National Nurses Day, Thursday, May 6.
The day kicked off a week-long celebration of Nurses Week, May 6-12. The ACHS event involved a special program, which included blessing of hands by Greenfield United Methodist Church Pastor Melinda Stonebraker, cinnamon rolls and coffee, walking tour through the hospital highlighting nurse stories and photos, coworker and patient testimonials of extraordinary nurses, and more.
“Today was a great opportunity for us to recognize, honor and thank all of our nurses at ACHS for their hard work and commitment to providing exceptional care to each and every patient,” said Marcia Hendricks, Adair County Health System CEO. “The dedication and resiliency of our nurses in both the clinics and hospital really shined this past year. We are very fortunate to have a wonderful team of nurses in place at ACHS to help care for the people in our community.”
