(Council Bluffs) The Council Bluffs Police Department has released an update on the shooting incident at Ameristar Casino in Council Bluffs at 2:01 this morning.
The Police Department says at 11:00 this morning detectives attempted to speak to the victim of this incident for a second time. The victim, a 29 year old male from Russellville, Missouri, was still uncooperative but did state that this was not a random shooting. The victim arrived at Ameristar Casino in the suspect’s vehicle and when the suspect returned to pick him up he was shot once in the abdomen. The victim was treated and released from UNMC.
At this time this case will be closed due to the victim not being willing to cooperate with the investigation.
