(Red Oak) No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Red Oak.
Police say the accident happened Sunday afternoon at the intersection of N. 8th Street and E. Reed Streets.
Officer’s stated an eastbound 2007 Pontiac G6 driven by 17-year old Courtney Lynn Hoswell of Red Oak traveling the wrong way on E. Reed Street, attempted to cross N. 8th Street was struck by a northbound 2018 Chevy Equinox driven by 24-year old Candis Ann Tiepelman of Lenox.
Officers cited Hoswell with failure to yield upon entering a through street.
The estimated damage to the Chevy Equinox is $2,500.00. The damage to the Pontiac is estimated at $1,500.00.
