(Clarinda) Glenwood won nine events and finished second in three other races and captured the team title with 202-points at the Lady Cardinal Relays in Clarinda on Tuesday.
Emma Hughes won the 800, 1500, and 3000-meter races to lead the Rams. Abby Hughes won the 400-meter hurdles, and Glenwood earned gold in the 4×100, 4×200, 4×400, 4×800, and Sprint Medley Relays.
Atlantic won three events and posted six runner-up finishes and finished second in the team standings with 139-points. Haley Rasmussen led the Trojans with wins in the 200 and 400 meters, and the Distance Medley Relay also claimed first place. Taylor McCreedy finished 2nd in the 800, Caroline Pellett was second in the 100-meter hurdles, and Eva Rush was second in the 1500, and Lauren Nicholas finished 2nd in the Discus, and the 4×400 and 4×800 meter Relay teams also claimed second place.
Clarinda finished third with 97-points, Creston, 4th, 63, Red Oak, 5th, 48, and Council Bluffs, Thomas Jefferson was 6th with 32.
