(Glenwood) Glenwood won seven events, finished second in four others, and captured the team title on their home track with 171-points on Monday night. Clarinda finished second with 132, Atlantic, third, 118, Red Oak fourth with 90, Council Bluffs, Thomas Jefferson, fifth, 38, Council Bluffs, Abraham Lincoln, sixth, 31, and Creston was seventh with 26-points.
Silas Bales topped the field for Glenwood in the 100 and 200 meters in times of 11.63, and 23.47 respectively. Tyler Boldra and Anthony Driskoll finished first and second in the 110-meter highs in 16.81, and 16.88 respectively. The Rams also earned gold in the 4×200, 4×400, and 4×800, and the Shuttle Hurdle Relays.
Clarinda swept the field events. Isaac Jones won the high jump, (6-04), Michael Shull, earned gold in the long jump, (21.25), Logan Green won the shot put, (47.20), and Crew Howard tossed the discus for a winning throw of (129-02), and Clarinda won the sprint medley relay.
Atlantic won three events and finished second in four others. Craig Alan Becker won the 800 meters in (2:01.26), and Caden Andersen finished second in (2:08.24). Drew Engler won the 3200 in a time of (11:07.40), and Colin Mullinix snapped the tape in the 400-meter hurdles in (58.05), Zane Vance was second in (58.89). Zane Berg finished second in the 1600 meters in (5:07.50), and Garrett Reynolds finished third in the 110 Meters in (16.99).
Kaden Johnson of Red Oak topped the field in the 400 meters in (54.49), and the Tigers won the 4×100 meter relay in (45.18).
