(Ft. Pierce, Florida) Atlantic grad and Midlands College swimmer Anna Lowary completed her freshman season with five strong performances at the National Invitational Swim Meet in Ft. Pierce, Florida, this past week.
Lowary felt good going into the meet based on her performance at the conference meet and training over the past couple of weeks. The former Atlantic standout didn’t disappoint. Individually, Lowary set personal records in the 500 Freestyle, 200 Freestyle, set a school record, personal record, and placed fifth overall in the 200 Meter Butterfly.
Lowary had strong performances in the school record-setting 800-meter relay and third-place 400-meter relay.
Lowary says next season starts today with off-season work in preparation for her sophomore year.
