(Massena) The Massena City Council discussed current and future Tax Increment Financing projects at their meeting this week.
Massena City Councilman Doug Venteicher says the council discussed the City’s Urban Renewal Plan. He says some of the ongoing work includes fencing and bleachers at the ball field, tree planting at the City Park, and the new restrooms’ opening.
The future projects include curb and gutter work, construction work on the s-curve east of town, and finishing the street drainage system project.
The Council also approved the hiring of a part-time city worker and reviewed the City’s fiscal year 2022 budget, which is similar to this past fiscal year, according to Venteicher.
