(Red Oak) The Red Oak City Council discussed the possibility of a property exchange with the Red Oak Community School District earlier this week. Following the discussion, the City Council approved the trade.
Red Oak City Administrator Brad Wright says this conservation has been ongoing for a while. The City agrees to trade ownership of the baseball/football field and parking lot from city to school and trading ownership of the cage area north of the old middle school from school to city.
Wright says the legal process will begin to make this happen. This would be a trade with zero money exchanged.
