(Atlantic) The Atlantic Police Department arrested a third man connected with a bar fight on February 19 at the Fireside Lounge in Atlantic.
Police on Thursday arrested 30-year old Timothy Brown of Atlantic on Cass County Warrants for Assault Causing Serious Injury, Interference with Official Acts, and Disorderly Conduct.
Earlier, Police arrested one man, and cited another man in connection with the incident that sent two men to the hospital. Police arrested 29-year old Cody Christensen of Atlantic on Cass County Warrants for Disorderly Conduct and Assault Causing Bodily Injury. Authorities transported Christensen to the Cass County Jail. Additionally, 36-year old Ty Daniel Jordan of Exira was cited and released on a charge of Disorderly Conduct.
Atlantic Police Chief Dave Erickson says Officers were dispatched to the Fireside Lounge in the early morning hours of February 19 to report of a fight in progress. When the officer’s arrived, they found two men unconscious on the floor. Cass County EMS transported the two men to the Cass County Memorial Hospital. One of the men, who police described as a victim, was later airlifted to a trauma center for treatment.
In a separate case; Police arrested 40-year old David Thomas of Atlantic on an Audubon County Warrant for Extortion and Theft 2nd – degree. Officers took Thomas into custody and transported him to Audubon County.
