(State) The road to Wells Fargo Arena starts Saturday for high school wrestlers in Iowa. 1A and 2A Sectional Tournaments begin at noon. The top two wrestlers from each site advance to next weekend’s District Tournament. Sectional sites involving area teams are listed below.
Class 1A
At Ogden: ACGC, Audubon, Coon Rapids-Bayard, East Sac County, Nodaway Valley, Ogden, South Central Calhoun, St. Edmond
At Riverside: AHSTW, Missouri Valley, Riverside, St. Albert, Tri-Center, Underwood, West Central Valley
At SW Valley: Bedford/Lenox, Clarinda Academy, East Mills, East Union, Griswold, Mount Ayr, SW Valley, Treynor
Class 2A
At Glenwood: Clarinda, Creston/O-M, Glenwood, Red Oak, Shenandoah, Southwest Iowa
At Winterset: Atlantic/CAM, Central Decatur, Chariton, Clarke, Panorama, Winterset
KSOM will air a sectional wrestling recap show on Saturday evening with results for ACGC, Audubon, Nodaway Valley, AHSTW, Riverside, Griswold, Atlantic/CAM, and Harlan
KS95.7 FM will air reports twice an hour from Winterset with live coverage of the finals.
