(Atlantic) With the Winter Storm Warning now in effect for southwest and west-central portions of the state, Cass County Emergency Management Director Mike Kennon advises residents to be prepared for the worst.
Kennon says storm predictors are calling for six-inches to 13-inches of snow.
Kennon says most people are aware that by early this afternoon, snowfall amounts will increase to two-inches an hour over an extended period of time. Kennon says steps are being taken at the courthouse to send staff members home early this afternoon.
