(Atlantic) The Cass County Sheriff’s Office reports two minor injury accidents.
On January 13, at 11:13 a.m., the Cass County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a single-vehicle accident on Glacier Road. A 2007 Kenworth T800 with a trailer driven by Jeffry Dean Leinen, 56, of Panama, was making an eastbound turn onto Glacier Road from Marne Road when the vehicle overturned into the south ditch. The driver reported minor injuries but refused medical transport. Damage to the vehicle is estimated at $35,000.
On January 5, at 5:33 p.m., the Cass County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a single-vehicle accident on I-80 at the 56 mile marker. An eastbound 2012 Chevy Equinox owned and driven by Tiffany Brown, 41, of Papillion, Nebraska, reportedly swerved to avoid something in the roadway and struck cable barriers at that location. A passenger in the vehicle, Deszirick Ramone Hopskie, 25, was transported to Cass County Memorial Hospital for suspected minor injury. Damage to the vehicle is estimated at $5,000.
