(Guthrie Co.) Two people suffered possible injuries in a two-vehicle accident in Guthrie County Wednesday afternoon.
The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office says Blair Rosenbeck, 32, of Guthrie Center, was driving a 2009 Chevrolet Malibu eastbound on Highway 44 and stopped to turn north onto 11th Street. A 16-year-old female from Adair was driving a 2004 Oldsmobile Alero eastbound on Highway 44. The teen said she was talking with her passenger and didn’t see that Rosenbeck was stopped to turn. The Alero collided with the rear of the Malibu. The teen was cited for Failure to Stop in Assured Clear Distance.
A passenger in Rosenbeck’s vehicle, Whitney Rosenbeck, 32, of Guthrie Center, and a passenger in the Alero, a 16-year-old female from Guthrie Center, were both transported to the Guthrie County Hospital by a private vehicle.
