(Glenwood) The Mills County Public Health Department released its weekly report of positive COVID-19 cases confirmed in the county from January 5 to January 12.
Mills County experienced 40 new positive tests of COVID-19, one case higher from the week before, bringing the total number of cases since the pandemic began to 1,339. The 14-day positivity rate held steady at 13.5%, and Public Health Officials report no deaths for the week ending January 12. According to the report, to-date, 1,136 people have recovered from the virus.
According to the report, 33% of the positive cases were in the age group 40-59, 30% in the 19-39 age group, 20% in the 60-79 older adult category, 15% in the age group of 0-18, and 2% were 80 years of age or older.
