Patricia Ann Miller entered into eternal rest on December 29, 2020 at the age of 84. She was born on March 7, 1936 in Harlan, Iowa to the late James and Francis (Knowlton) Griffin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of fifty-three years, Marvin “Mark” Miller, her daughter, Joelle Beezley, and her brother, Richard Griffin.
Patricia is survived by her children, Jana (and husband Rich) Dore of Farmington, MO, Scott Miller of Chicago, IL, and Jill (and husband Josh) Galpin of Cedar Rapids, IA, her grandchildren, Nicholas Dore, Benjamin Dore, Graeham Beezley, Noelle Beezley, Emma Galpin, and Griffin Galpin, her son in law, Darin Beezley of Washington, IA, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Patricia was a life long member of St. Michael’s Parish where she received all of her Sacraments. She was a very social person and enjoyed reading, flowers, baking, knitting/crocheting, and her Catholic faith. Nothing gave Pat more joy than her family, particularly spending time with her grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family Mass will be held in Harlan, Iowa on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 11 AM.
