(Council Bluffs) A victim was transported to the hospital in serious condition after a shooting in Council Bluffs on Wednesday.
According to the police report, officers were dispatched to the area of 800 North 34th Street at 6:20 p.m. There was a report of shots fired and a male subject possibly struck by a bullet. Upon arrival the victim was located laying in an apartment building parking lot with a gunshot wound. The victim, identified as 24-year-old Daquon Berry, of Columbus, NE, has been transported to UNMC.
At the time of the release the suspect or suspects are unknown and not identified.
