Funeral Services for 88-year old Marion L. Sorensen of Exira, formerly of Cumberland, Iowa, will be held on Tuesday, November 10, at 11:00 a.m. at the Kessler Funeral Home in Exira, with burial in the Newlon’s Grove Cemetery in rural Cumberland at 2:00 p.m.
Marion L. Sorensen is survived by his wife Delores Sorensen of Exira, his children, Karen, and husband Mike Hayes of Tempe, Arizona, Kevin and wife Karla Sorensen of Corning, Iowa, Kathy and husband David Sheldahl of Arlington, Nebraska, seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; his brother and sisters, Ruth and husband Alan Sorensen of Oakland, Iowa, Janet and husband David Brower of Omaha, Nebraska, Roger nad wife Sharon Sorensen of Corning; his sisters-in-law, Mary Barton of Los Vegas, Nevada, Jean and husband Bob Irwin of Bellevue, Nebraska, Jane Waltz, of Independence, Missouri; nieces, and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
A family visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 10th, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the Kessler Funeral Home in Exira.
