(Atlantic) LeMars, with three runners placing in the top ten, topped the 19 team field at the Atlantic Cross Country Invitational with 63-points. Atlantic, with three runners in the top twenty, finished second with 111–points, Glenwood finished third with 116-points.
Craig Alan Becker, of Atlantic (pictured), won the individual title in a time of 16:36.70. Trey Gross of Harlan finished second in a time of 16:42.90, Ethan Eichorn, of Lewis Central finished third in 16:56.40, Andrew Smith of Glenwood, fourth, 17:20.50, and Baylor Bergren, Red Oak, fifth, in 17:27.50. Ethan Hulinsky, LeMars, sixth, Carlos Rodriquez, Lewis Central, seventh, Kaden Wingert, Le Mars, eighth, Toby Bower Nodaway Valley, ninth Doug Berg of Nodaway Valley rounded out the top ten.
Besides Becker’s first-place finish, Zane Berg ended up 13th, Drew Engler crossed the finish line in 19th (20thoverall), Ethan Williams entered the shoot in 24th (25th overall), and Tyrell Williams rounded out the team scoring in 54th place and (55th overall), for the Trojans.
