A Mass of Christian Burial for 74-year old Richard Mulligan of Defiance will be held on Tuesday, September 22, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Defiance. Burial will be at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Defiance. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. The Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan is in charge of arrangements.
Richard Mulligan is survived by his wife Diane Mulligan, and two daughters; Theresa (Michael Phillips Mulligan) of Omaha, and Shari (Jim) Springman of Council Bluffs. Two sons; Rick (Michelle) Mulligan, of Defiance, and Andy (Tiffany) Mulligan of Defiance. One sister, Judy (William) Stuck of Omaha, and nine grandchildren.
