(Pella) Craig Alan Becker finished 2nd and the Atlantic boys team finished third at the 15th Annual Heartland Classic Red Division Cross Country Meet at Pella on Saturday.
Becker (file Photo) finished second out of a field of 72 runners in a time of 16:35.30. Eli Larson of Center-Point Urbana won the individual title in a time of 16:22.3.
The Trojans with four runners in the top twenty scored 91-points. Besides Becker’s runner-up finish, Drew Engler finished 18th, 18:10.40, Zane Berg, 19th, 18:13.60, and Ethan Williams crossed the finish line in 20th place with a time of 18:22.80. Tyrell Williams, rounded out the Trojan scoring with a fifth place finish in 19:26.50. Isaac Altman was 46th, and Alex Sampson finished 47th.
