(Treynor) Treynor has a big challenge on their hands this Friday night. The 2-1 Cardinals will oppose one of the district leaders when they oppose top five ranked Underwood.
It’s been a makeshift lineup from week to week for Coach Jeff Casey’s Treynor squad which graduated the majority of their starters from last year.
They’ll face an Underwood team that has outscored their three opponents by an average of 39 points per game.
Casey says his team has had to dip down deep into the depth chart over the first three weeks. They beat Clarinda 28-13 in Week 1, lost to Glenwood 37-0 in Week 2, and responded last Friday night with a 9-7 squeaker over East Sac County.
