(Glenwood) The Glenwood Police Department was called to a shooting late Thursday night.
A teenage victim was sent to the hospital via medical helicopter following the shooting at 506 S. Locust Street. Two juveniles were arrested that night while a third suspect was located and apprehended on Friday.
According to police, a suspect vehicle was located by Mills County Deputy’s north of Glenwood and the suspect fled on foot. An extensive search led to the apprehension of a 17-year-old male from Omaha and a 15-year-old female from Council Bluffs. Both have unrelated charges of Burglary 3rd Degree.
At 11:30 a.m. Friday officers apprehended the third suspect, a 17-year-old male from Glenwood at a Glenwood residence. This subject also faces a charge of Burglary 3rd Degree. Further charges are forthcoming for all three subjects.
No further information will be released due to involved individuals being minors. The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and the Mills County Sheriff’s Office are assisting with the investigation.
