(Cumberland) The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to help them find two persons who were party to an incident this weekend.
On Saturday, June 27, at about 3:24 p.m., the Cass County Sheriff’s Office received a report of two individuals placing a deceased dog into a ditch in rural Cumberland on 650th Street just north of Pella Road. The animal appeared to be emaciated and neglected. The individuals were in an older model black Pontiac with a sticker across the top front of the windshield and a sticker across the back window.
The dog is described as a 30-40 lb liver and white mixed breed with shorter hair.
