(Red Oak) The Montgomery County Board of Supervisors approved a funding request for the Red Oak Grand Theatre expansion project.
Montgomery County Auditor Stephanie Burke said officials requested $5,000 from the County.
“That $5,000 is required to secure a potential grant and that grant amount is $150,000. The grant is from Enhance Iowa Community Attraction and Tourism, so that was passed and the County will invest $5,000,” said Burke.
Burke said if the grant is not approved then the $5,000 will not be given.
