(Missouri Valley) Two people suffered injuries in a single-vehicle accident in Harrison County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at 11:20 p.m. on Wednesday on Interstate 29 near the 78-mile marker. Authorities say University of Nebraska Air Helicopter transported a passenger identified as 61-year old Jeffrey W. Nielsen, of Council Bluffs, to the UNMC. Missouri Valley Fire transported the driver, 35-year old Paul A. Vail, of Omaha to Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs.
The Iowa State Patrol says alcohol may be a factor in the crash.
