(Council Bluffs) The Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office reports four arrests.
Marissa Elinna Castaneda, 24, of Council Bluffs, was arrested Saturday after Deputies were called to an assault in progress. Castaneda, identified as the victim, was uncooperative with law enforcement. She was treated for injuries sustained during the assault. Castaneda had active warrants through Pottawattamie County and was transported to corrections after being released from the hospital. She was charged with Fugitive from Justice and Violation of Probation.
Christopher Young Courtney II, 32, was arrested Saturday after Deputies were called to Freds Bar in Avoca for a male subject trespassing on the property who had been banned and barred by the establishment. Courtney was charged with Trespass.
Nyarial Chuol Gatluak, 23, of Omaha, Nebraska, was arrested Sunday at the 12 mile marker of Interstate 80. Gatluak was charged with Operating While Intoxicated 1st Offense.
Vitoria Joleigh Hopkinson, 32, was arrested Sunday at the 29 mile marker of Interstate 80 for Driving While Barred and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
