(Council Bluffs) Two people were arrested following a pursuit that ended in Pottawattamie County.
At 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office Deputies assisted Omaha Police in a pursuit that entered Iowa from Interstate 480. The stolen vehicle was stopped on River Road. 32-year-old Brandon Lee McKinley, of Omaha, Nebraska, was arrested for Theft 1st – Motor Vehicle Theft over $10,000, Eluding, and Possession of a Firearm or Offensive Weapon by a Felon. 35-year-old Jherri Rae Stabler, of Omaha, Nebraska, was arrested for Theft 1st – Motor Vehicle Theft over $10,000, and Possession of a Firearm or Offensive Weapon by a Felon.
The Sheriff’s Office also arrested a Missouri Valley man at 12:30 this morning after Deputies were advised that a male subject was fleeing from an in-progress protection order violation. Deputies were able to locate 30-year-old Ross Michael Weaver in the 21000 block of Old Lincoln Highway. Weaver was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Eluding, Theft 2nd – Motor Vehicle Theft under $10,000, Violation of a No Contact/Protective Order – Contempt two counts, and Domestic Abuse Assault Strangulation with Bodily Injury.
