(Council Bluffs) A Council Bluffs man was arrested following a pursuit in Pottawattamie County early this morning.
The Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office says Deputies attempted a traffic stop on a 2020 Toyota Corolla for speeding when the pursuit ensued. The driver, 34-year-old Blue Tyler Petersen, was arrested in Council Bluffs and charged with Eluding While Exceeding the Speed Limit by 25 mph or more, Hit and Run – vehicle damage only, Reckless Driving, and Violation of Parole.
In other activity, the Sheriff’s Office arrested Kathleen Marie Gerhardt, 45, on May 25th for Domestic Abuse Assault 1st Offense, Interference with Official Acts and Violation of a No Contact/Protective Order after Deputies were called to a domestic disturbance in Oakland. A male victim was transported to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Lauren Anne Olson, 18, and a 17-year-old male were arrested after Deputies observed two vehicles parked off the roadway at the end of McPherson Avenue, just east of Eastern Hills Drive. It was discovered the two occupants of one of the vehicles were in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Olson was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The 17-year-old male was charged with Conspire with Intent to Deliver Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
A 16-year-old male was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance – Marijuana 1st Offense after Deputies made contact with a vehicle at the Lewis and Clark Monument on May 26th.
Mindee Lea Vorthmann, 47, was charged May 21st with Violation of Probation as well as General Purpose Report after Deputies were called to the area of 310th and Highway 92 for a young female child walking down the side of the highway. The child was taken back to the address in which she left. An investigation was made and the child was released to her biological mother.
Theodore James Fowler, 48, was arrested May 23rd for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Public Intoxication after Deputies were called to suspicious activity at Casey’s in Crescent.
