(Creston) A Creston woman was transported to the hospital following a single vehicle accident Monday afternoon.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office says 25-year-old Sky Jones was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer south on Iowa 25 during a heavy rain storm when she lost control of the vehicle and started to hydroplane. The vehicle went into the ditch on the west side of the road and came to rest with the vehicle mostly submerged in the creek.
Jones was taken to the Greater Regional Medical Center by Law Enforcement.
