Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Report

(Council Bluffs) The Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office reports two arrests.

Jeffery Michael Hotz, 25, of Omaha, Nebraska, was arrested this morning after Deputies were dispatched to a pursuit crossing the I-680 bridge into Iowa. Hotz was charged with Theft 1^st – Motor Vehicle, and Willful Failure to Stop for Law Enforcement. He was held in the Pottawattamie County Jail on $11,000 bond.

Stephanie Nicole Riser, 24, was arrested Thursday after Deputies were called to assist a Conservation Officer at the Hitchcock Nature Center. Riser was being uncooperative and was placed into custody. She was charged with Interference with Official Acts, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) 1^st Offense, and Possession of a Controlled Substance (Other Schedule I, II, III, IV and V) 1^st Offense.
