(Audubon) The Audubon County Sheriff’s Office reports two arrests.
Cole Jacob Benton, 29, of Hamlin, was arrested March 12th for Tampering with a Witness. The charge stems from an investigation into an incident that occurred while he was being held in the Audubon County Jail. He appeared before the Magistrate and was released.
Andrew Allen Malloy, 23, of Audubon, was charged April 8th with Burglary – 3rd degree. This charge stems from an investigation into the break-in of the Exira Car Wash in January. Andrew is currently being held in the Audubon County Jail on a $16,000 bond for this charge as well as other unrelated charges.
