Atlantic finished at 7-18, but won three of their last four regular season games. They gave a ranked Harlan squad a run for their money in the first round of postseason play, but were ousted by the Cyclones 2-0. When senior Chase McLaren was on the hill the team had a chance to beat anybody and that was proven true with a 3-2 upset of perennial power Harlan on June 24th. Another exciting win came against Creston at home when Nile Petersen had a walkoff hit to cap off a three run 7th inning comeback. Senior to be Brody O’Brien has committed to play at Briar Cliff.
