Exira-EHK 61, Boyer Valley 40
Macy Emgarten and Quinn Grubbs each scored 18 for the Spartans who were back in action after having to cancel Friday’s game against CAM due to illness. The Spartans ran the table in the Rolling Valley Conference and will take a 19-1 record into the postseason. The winner of Fremont-Mills/Sidney will travel to Exira-EHK on February 18th.
Harlan 73, Atlantic 51
The Cyclones raced out to a big lead early with 23 points in the 1st quarter and led 41-19 at half. Macie Leinen led the team with 17 points and 14 rebounds. Jocelyn Cheek and Brecken Van Baale were each in double figures with 15 and 14 respectively. Atlantic’s high scorer was McKenzie Waters with 18. Haley Rasmussen scored 16. Harlan has won seven of their last eight games.
Nodaway Valley 58, AHSTW 56
The Wolverines win the matchup of ranked teams thanks to 24 points from Lexi Shike and 19 out of Maddax DeVault. Alyssa Davis knocked in 11 points in a matchup of two teams that could meet in a regional semifinal. AHSTW was led by Kinsey Scheffler’s 24 points. Claire Harris scored 17 and Claire Denning had 13. The Lady Vikes were without leading scorer and rebounder Kailey Jones.
Logan-Magnolia 63, Riverside 30
Kylie Morrison led the Panthers with 17 points as they improve to 17-3 on the season. Lo-Ma led 24-4 at the end of the first quarter and 44-19 by the end of the half. Riverside got 12 points from Ashlynn Amdor. Meghan Reed scored 9.
