The Spartans win the Rolling Valley Conference outright. They’ve won 18 consecutive games. Macy Emgarten registered 20 points. Tatum Grubbs scored 17 and Ellie Schultes had 11.
Harlan 63, Kuemper Catholic 28
Harlan outscored Kuemper Catholic 30-0 over a 9:30 span in the middle of the first half. Claire Schmitz scored 16 and Macie Leinen added 13. 11-8 Harlan has won six in a row. Maci Wittrock scored 10 for Kuemper.
Logan-Magnolia 38, Audubon 23
Kylie Morrison scored 12 points for the Panthers in a big Western Iowa Conference win. They improve to 16-2 overall and stay tied with AHSTW at the top of the WIC standings. Morrison added 9 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals. Audubon was limited to 19% field goal shooting and hit just 1/13 beyond the arc. Aleah Hermansen scored 10 points and had 8 rebounds for the Wheelers.
Nodaway Valley 61, Mount Ayr 46
The Wolverines split the season series and open the door for at least a share of the Pride of Iowa Conference title. Each team has one league setback which came against each other. Nodaway Valley has Lenox remaining on their POI slate while Mount Ayr opposes Bedford twice. Maddax DeVault led four players in double figures with 15 points. Alyssa Davis scored 14, Lexi Shike 12, and Reagan Weinheimer 10. Weinheimer made 8/11 free-throws in the game including 6/7 in the 4th. Nodaway Valley is 17-2 overall.
Red Oak 66, Atlantic 31
Chloe Johnson led the Tigers with 17 points and Allie West scored 15. Sophie Walker notched 11 points for 15-3 Red Oak. Atlantic had a team high 10 points out of Taylor McCreedy.
West Central Valley 62, ACGC 49
The Chargers fall to 9-9 on the year. EmmaKay McClain had 14 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals. Alaina Bunde posted 11 points and 11 rebounds. Kennedy Young scored 10 points.
