(Audubon) Logan-Magnolia scored 298.5 points to win Saturday’s Wheeler Invitational in Audubon. Missouri Valley’s total of 227 points earned 2nd in the seven team competition.
Lo-Ma crowned eight champions and had six guys finish 2nd. Teams were not limited to one wrestler per weight class. Missouri Valley’s runner-up finish as a team was bolstered by eight finalists and three champions.
Audubon had a pair of individual winners with Javyn Bladt (160) and Luke Mosinski (220). Mosinski pinned Logan-Magnolia’s Rex Johnsen in 1:14 in the 220 final in a matchup of top tier wrestlers in the area. Other place winners for Audubon included Cooper Nielsen (3rd at 182), Kobie Otten (3rd at 170), Keegan Deist (3rd at 145), and Lane Barber (4th at 145). Audubon finished 45 points behind East Sac County and placed 4th.
Atlantic/CAM JV was 5th with 67 points. The Trojans had 3rd place finishes from Clevi Johnson (106) and Brent Masker (138), 4th for Karsen Croghan (152) and Cole Park (170), 5th place finishes from Cruz Weaver (106), Zachary Olson (132), and Ty Eblen (182), and 6th place for Reese Oglesbee (220).
