Glenwood 80, Atlantic 50
16-0 Glenwood got 14 points each from Madison Camden and Jenna Hopp. For Atlantic, Haley Rasmussen and McKenzie Waters each scored 12 and Tessa Grooms came up with 10 points.
Nodaway Valley 62, Lenox 22
The 14-2 Wolverines led 36-8 by halftime, allowing only three field goals in the first two quarters. Scoring 14 each were Lexi Shike and Maddax DeVault. Reagan Weinheimer contributed 11 points and Alyssa Davis had 10. Davis was 7/8 at the free-throw line.
Tri-Center 48, Griswold 35
A McKenna Wiechman three-pointer early in the 3rd quarter cut the Tiger deficit to 27-21, but that’s as close as Griswold was the entire 2nd half. Wiechman scored 11 points and Makala Pelzer had 12. Tri-Center was led by 23 from Madison Ausdemore.
Van Meter 57, ACGC 46
The Chargers trailed by just one at the end of the 1st and by five at half, but were outscored 19-9 in the 3rd. Jorja Hoover topped the scoring chart with 13 points. Kylie Young posted 12 points and 5 rebounds with 10 points out of EmmaKay McClain.
Boys
CAM 51, Stanton 49
The Cougars jumped out to a 30-17 halftime lead and hung on for the win. A 14-6 edge in the 2nd quarter proved to be vital as Stanton charged back with 32 2nd half points. Colton Thornburg led Stanton in the loss with 13 points while Carter Johnson posted 12 points and 8 assists.
Nodaway Valley 92, Lenox 37
The Wolverines have five in double figures for a 2nd straight game. They improve to 10-5 on the year. Toby Bower went 8/11 from the field and 5/7 from three-point range, scoring 23. Tyler Vandewater had 22 points on 9/12 shooting along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals. Josh Baudler’s night included 16 points (5/10 FG), 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals. Clay Hohertz notched 15 points and freshman Boston DeVault had a career high 11 points. Vandewater and Baudler’s outputs were both season highs.
Tri-Center 58, Griswold 4
Lane Mueller and Brayden Stirek had the only two baskets for Griswold. Leyton Nelson scored 25 for Tri-Center. The Trojans collected 28 steals and led 38-0 at one time.
Van Meter 50, ACGC 42
Eli Kading was the Charger scoring leader with 11. He went 3/6 from long range. Quynton Younker added 10 points and Bryce Littler scored 9.
