(Creston) Creston Police arrested two-people following a traffic stop in Creston.
Authorities arrested 31-year old Amber Dawn Johnson, of Cedar, Iowa and 38-year old James William Lenze of Des Moines late Thursday night stemming from the traffic stop at Wyoming Avenue. During the stop, K-9 Jax was deployed and got a positive hit on the vehicle.
Lenze was taken into custody on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver and Driving While Barred. He is being held in the Union County Jail on no bond awaiting an appearance in front of a magistrate.
Authorities charged Johnson with Possession of a Controlled Substance, 3rd, or Subsequent Offense. She is being held in the Adams County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
In other activity; Police arrested Michael David Johns, 42, of Creston on a warrant for a Parole Violation. He is being held in the Union County Jail on no bond.
