(Clarinda) A Page County man died in a semi/pedestrian accident near Clarinda.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at around 2:03 p.m., Thursday, on Highway 71 and Nodaway Valley Park.
According to the report; 35-year old Justin Wayne Nall of Savannah, Missouri was driving a northbound 2011 Peterbilt semi on Highway 71 near the intersection of Nodaway Park. As the semi approached the intersection a pedestrian identified as 50-year old Joey Clark McComb, of Clarinda, walked into the southbound lane and then walked back into the northbound lane where the semi and McComb collided.
McComb was transported by Clarinda Rescue to Clarinda Regional Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
