(Audubon) An Audubon High School graduate will be returning home for a special night of entertainment and community celebration. Dalena Ditto will perform at Celebrate Audubon on February 1st.
Celebrate Audubon will be held at St. Patrick’s Parish Center beginning with social hour at 6:00 p.m. Chamber President Telia Carter is excited to welcome Dalena Ditto back to town. “Our entertainment this year is Dalena Ditto with Brett Michel so you don’t want to miss that. She’s a big name down in Branson so if people are wanting to go they better get their tickets early.”
Nominations are open through Friday for the Citizen and Junior Citizen of the Year awards. Winners will be announced on February 1st. Carter says the recent addition of a dessert dash has been a big hit.
Celebrate Audubon serves as a community banquet and auction. Everyone is welcome, not just chamber members. Social hour starts at 6:00 with the meal at 7:00 p.m. Carter says 150 attended last year and they are hoping for and expecting more this year with Dalena Ditto headlining the entertainment.
