(Audubon) 8-2 is the win-loss record for the Audubon girls after a 63-60 win over Boyer Valley on Monday.
Jaci Christensen made 8/13 field goals and all four free-throws for a career high 20 points. She hauled in 14 rebounds in the team’s 7th win in their last eight games. Aleah Hermansen scored 16 points to go along with six rebounds, two assists, and four steals. Leah Subbert went for 14 points and was 7/9 at the free-throw line. Subbert had seven rebounds and four assists.
Audubon trailed 32-31 at the half, but outscored the Bulldogs 18-6 in the third quarter. Boyer Valley snugged things up with a 22-14 4th quarter advantage, but Audubon hung on for the road victory.
The Wheelers will be back in action on Friday night with a key Western Iowa Conference game at IKM-Manning. The Wolves are 6-2 overall.
