(Guthrie Center) Mike Dickson will serve as the chair of the Guthrie County Board of Supervisors in 2020. Jerome “J.D.” Kuster was appointed as vice chair at the supervisor’s organizational meeting held on Thursday.
The board approved the following holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day (to be observed July 3rd), Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day and the Day After, Christmas Eve and Christmas, and New Year’s Day.
The supervisors will meet twice a week from January through March and once a week from April through December. Meetings from January 2nd to March 31st will be at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday and Thursday. Meetings will be held on Tuesday’s only at 9:00 a.m. for the remainder of the year.
