Atlantic Man Charged with Assault following incident at the Jail

(Atlantic) A Cass County man is charged following an incident at the Cass County Jail.

According to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, 21-year old Drew Henry Miller of Atlantic faces charges of Assault Causing Bodily Injury regarding an incident on December 28, at the jail. Miller was already being held on various drug charges and a Probation Violation. Miller is being held in the Cass County Jail on a $59,800.00 bond.

In other activity; as reported earlier, 25-year old Kyler Jay O’Brien, of Earling was arrested on charges of Driving While Barred, Eluding, Carrying Weapons, and Reckless Driving. O’Brien was taken to the Cass County Jail and later released on a $6,000 bond.

In a separate incident; 24-year old Daniel Albert Ward, of Griswold, was arrested for 2^nd Degree Criminal Mischief, 2^nd offense, and 4^th Degree Criminal Mischief. Ward was taken to the Cass County Jail and released later that day on a $6,000 bond.
