(Harlan) The Harlan Police Department has arrested two people on a lengthy list of drug charges.
30-year-old Kurtis Kelly Kobold, of Kirkman, and 24-year-old Sarah Nicole Caswell, of Harlan were arrested following a traffic stop on July 31st. Each were taken to the Shelby County Jail and charged with a controlled substance violation, failure to affix a drug tax stamp, no seat belt, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, prohibited acts penalties, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Kobold also faces a charge of felon in possession of a firearm and Caswell faces additional charges of forgery and ongoing criminal conduct.
Others arrested by the Harlan Police Department over the last two weeks include 29-year-old Charles Watts, of Harlan, for domestic abuse assault, 57-year-old Jody Wyatt, of Harlan for public intoxication, theft 5th, and selling without a license, 28-year-old Jacob Scheffler, of Harlan for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and improper light on a bicycle, 33-year-old Christine Belt, of Harlan, for delivery of a controlled substance, 32-year-old Eugene Cardine, of Harlan, for possession of a controlled substance, domestic abuse assault, and child endangerment, 22-year-old Marissa Mitchell, of Harlan, for driving while suspended, 36-year-old Devin Mahoney, of Harlan, for public intoxication, and 21-year-old Devin Ramirez, of Harlan, for public intoxication.
