(Atlantic) Senator Charles Grassley was in Atlantic Thursday morning as part of his 99 county tour.
Grassley is getting in some stops on his annual tour because congress is not in session this week due to the Democratic National Convention and won’t be in session next week because of the Republican National Convention.
He recently had the opportunity to see storm damage throughout the state.
Grassley was asked how he feels Iowa is handling COVID-19, especially with the start of a new school year. He commends the fact that decisions are able to be made at the local level.
Grassley answered questions about one hour before ending on a light note.
